A wild day...
Oh my what a wild day.
The day started off on a great note (not really) the water to our street was shut off. Why? I am not sure what happened. I was lucky to end my shower just as the water went off. My neighbor wasn't so lucky, she had to use bottled water to rinse the shampoo out of her hair. My neighbor was furious that there wasn't any warning. I was given a heads up, but I didn't know the exact time it was being shut off, I was just told soon, so I hurried into the bathroom for a shower. I didn't rub it in that I was given a heads up because I didn't think it would help the situation.
Next up, a part in the tank to the toilet broke. Yep, I flushed the toilet in the main bathroom, but then the handle spun around and was upside down. I opened the tank, the plastic part that connects to the handle had broken, so I pulled on the metal chain to flush the toilet. Luckily, I have two bathrooms, so I wouldn't have to manually flush the toilet. Luckily, Jay the all over great handyman was off today. He is the artist who has done some painting for me. Jay is a wonderful artist, but unfortunately, it doesn't pay too well, so he also works full time for an insurance company. He used his day off to fix my toilet.
After the toilet was fixed, my neighbor called to let me know a notice was going out that someone in the neighborhood tested positive for Convid-19. My first thought was it has to be my clingy neighbor that won't stay home. It isn't her. How do I know? She called and wanted me to go to the store and get her milk. Now I have told this lady many times, I don't go in any stores because I am afraid of Covid-19. I explained to her nicely, that I wasn't able to get her milk. After this she tells me that her friend is coming to visit her, so I suggested that she ask her to help her out. Oh back to what I was saying about her not testing positive for Convid-19. She had received the notice that someone tested posted and wanted to know if I knew who it was. I explained that I didn't know who it was. Another neighbor said she was going to go door to door until she found who tested positive. The latest that I have been told it is a couple that lives quite a ways from me, but that is it. Am I even sure that this person has it, well the notice people received was from the Health Department, so I am assuming the information is accurate.
I took Millie for a walk around the park, towards the end of our walk, she laid in the grass and didn't want to get up. Poor little girl was so tired. While we were on our walk we saw lots of families biking, a family with butterfly nets, a few folks walking, and we saw some people paying on the ball fields. It was a nice day out with my pup.
Tonight I had to load the dog up and leave my home because someone wanted to look at it. Do I think the person will buy it? Nope, no one else wants it because of our HOA. Honestly, I don't blame them at all. If I knew what I know, I wouldn't buy it here.
