HOA Craziness---- Everyone's on edge about the annual meeting

The HOA craziness doesn't slow down, it only gets worse.  

I am being sucked in because I am now home all day. The first full day of retirement and this is what I get!! Okay maybe retirement isn't the right word, maybe vacation..... anyway you get the picture.

I was making my healthy lunch, pork chop and veggies, when a neighbor called to vent at me and ask me for some information.  Problem today, one of the members of the HOA mentally stability is concerning.  

Here is what has happened:

On Monday (5.18.2020)  Angry Lady drove into the neighborhood at an excessive rate of speed with squealing tires, came to a sudden stop, exited her vehicle and slammed her driver's door numerous times.

I have also learned that Angry Lady has yelled at five different widow ladies.  She gets about an inch from their faces and yells at them, if they ask her a question or inform her of a maintenance problem.

All of the incidents have been reported to the president of the HOA,  she has also witnessed some of the incidents, her response is that its okay that Angry Lady gets angry sometimes.   Really, so if you get angry sometimes, its okay to act like a lunatic.  Wonder if I could try that get away with it?  Mmmm... with my luck, someone would probably have me committed to a mental hospital.  

After an hour on the phone, my lunch got cold and it had to be nuked in the microwave.  During my hour long call, I didn't learn anything new.  She asked me for inforamtion which I gave her. Moslty, she wanted information on the financial statments and the two drug busts.  I gave her everything I have, dating back to 2015.

What is next? The annual board meeting is approaching soon and people are worried about this person mentally stability.

Juvi didn't show up for court on a shoplifting charge

 I looked up the verdict on the one criminal mischief charge and shoplifting charge and found that he didn't show up for court.  What happens now? According to the court, a warrant could go out for his arrest, or it could be continued to another date. The other charges: third degree domestic violence and criminal mischief have been continued to August. I will keep you posted. I am really hoping for a prison sentence on the domestic violence charge. This is not his first time being charged with domestic violence.

American Century Golf Tournament

 They are super slow at updating the charities the winners were playing for.  I assume that Jason Kelce donated the $5K he won to the Eagles Foundation for Autism, but I don't know for sure because the website hasn't been updated. He won the longest shot over 3 days ago.  https://americancenturychampionship.com/events/korbel-events/ So, I looked this up on 1.10.25 and the information is still not available. I did find something interesting Jason Kelce earned the 87-spot ranking in the tournament. Hopefully you know the significance of this number.

Money saving tips for week ending 8.14.2020

One thing to keep in mind, one place is not less expensive on all items. I once had a friend share with me that they buy all of their cleaning supplies at the Dollar Store. I checked it out, but I found that the name brand products were more per ounce than Walmart. I also learned that by purchasing off brands, I was using more than I was with the name brand, which equaled more money spent. Costco does have some items cheaper than Amazon, but be careful because not all are cheaper.  For example  Mr. Clean Magic Erasers are around $10 for a package of 11 at Costco, but you can purchase 9 of them on Amazon for $6.97.  Another thing to be aware of with Costco, you can have your orders delivered to your, but the items cost more. For example, Neutrogena Body Wash is around $16 in the store and $19 if delivered to your door.
