The color of your skin doesn't entitle you to be rude

To celebrate National Donut Day,  I decided to visit the neighborhood donut shop, along with a lot of others. I live in a neighborhood that is 90% white.  A black man (Please don't send me emails if you feel this term is not PC. The man was black just like I am white.) entered the shop, walked past everyone in line, walked right up to the counter, placed his order, and paid before anyone else was served.  There was a long  line and each person was standing on the little circle that was on the floor to keep us six feet apart.  Each person in the shop was white.  He was the only black. Once he left, chatter began about this behavior.  Why didn't anyone tell him to go to the end of the line?  The consensus was that no one wanted to do it because they didn't want to be called a racist.

I know what is going on in our country today is awful. No one deserves to be discriminated against because of the color of their skin, but also no should be using his/her skin color to get away with bad behavior.
