I know school districts and parents have difficult choices to make, whether or not to send their children to school or homeschool them. What is the right choice? It all depends on the parent and the child. Not one size fits all.
I do think that school districts need to make a plan and move forward because without a plan it puts the students and teachers in limbo.
In my area all students will be doing distance learning. Parents are now scrambling to juggle work and teaching their children. I watched an interview with one woman who says she is a single working mom, so she has hired a babysitter/tutor to stay with her kids.
A teacher in Kearney, NE shared with me that she doesn't know if she will be teaching in the classroom or remotely this year. She is so frustrated because school is scheduled to start in two weeks.
Whether you choose to send your kids to school or homeschool them, I hope it all works out well for you.
