Interesting convo

Things are definitely a little more liberal here. For this very conservative midwestern woman, it takes a little getting used to.

I pulled up to business, a man with a couple of bags was wandering around yelling. It wasn't yelling at anyone, he was just yelling. It was super strange. I wondered if he was in need of mental help.

 After seeing his actions, I choose to park far away from him. Upon entering the business, I alerted a worker about the situation. She thanked me and went to tell someone.

A man overheard my conversation.  He approached me. (I don't recall his exact words.) He told me that he knew the guy, there was nothing wrong with him, and he was just high.  I did not say anything back to him. I did think that being high was a problem. 

When I left the store, the man was gone.

Today, I walked out and quit my job. Huh? Am I serious? Yep, absolutely. Normally, I would tell someone don't ever do this, but sometimes a person has to do what is best for them.  Here is what happened: 7:50 a.m. Arrived at work. 7:50 a.m. to 7:55 a.m. Placed my lunch in the breakroom fridge, filled up my water bottle, and logged into my computer. Once I logged into my computer and saw the email, I decided to make today my last day. Why? Was it really that bad? My ex boss (I love how that sounds.) was demanding a meeting with me to go over my soft skills and discuss my future goals with the company.  This meeting was unnecessary, I had turned in my notice and my last day was to be on the 29th of May.  I couldn't get out of the meeting. If you have a Dyson Animal 3 listen up.

The recline feature suddenly stops working. About a year ago, I decided to splurge on a good vacuum because I was tired of replacing the vacuum every few years. Well, I vacuumed, shut it off and tried to use it the next day and wouldn’t recline. After trying some of the tips online, I gave up and called Dyson. After an hour wait, the guy told me that this model had a defect. So, if I send it back, they will send me a replacement. So, now I am waiting for a replacement. I am also wondering why they don’t recall it.

Why don't I share my political views on social media?

 I don't share my political views because it usually leads to disagreement amongst people and frankly, I don't feel like arguing with anyone. Also, I have to be careful about my conduct on a social media platform because of my job. I must protect my source of income and my future. I will always speak out against violence against women and violence prevention because those are my areas of research.
