Scared of a shadow

 I can add being afraid of a bird's shadow to my list of unique qualities. Today, while paying bills, a shadow flickered across a window. Since I  was on the second floor it was a little strange.  I watched the shadow move a few times. Finally, I got up and went and looked. I really thought I had peeping tom. Nope just a bird walking on the windowsill.

Wackadoodle Update

  Another installment of the wackadoodle. (For those of whom I used to work with, you have heard about this lady before.) Prior to my last move, I had to deal with an annoying neighbor. It was a sad situation. She is a disabled woman in her seventies, whose grown children live in surrounding small towns , but never visited her. When Covid hit, she was no longer driving, she didn't believe Covid was real. she got Covid in November of 2020. She wasn't hospitalized, but still doesn't think it is a big deal. Wackadoodle told me to do it. She did not ask me, she just ordered me to do it. I had helped her set up an online account to order groceries. She did it a few times, but decided she wanted someone to go after them. I declined to go after her groceries after she told me her friend was on her way to visit her, so I suggested she ask her friend. Her response was that her friend doesn't like grocery shopping.  This the first post I ever posted in July 2013. I am thankful that things are better today. July 11, 2013 my life after leaving an abuser After years of abuse, I finally was free over 10 years ago or so I thought I was. The past 10 plus years have been an on going nightmare. I have contacted law enforcement, sought legal advice and been told unless he physically harms you again, there is nothing we can do. I have been told that he and his family could be sued civically for harassment but due to the amount of money, political and law enforcement connections they have, they would tie any lawsuit up in court so long that they would just force me into bankruptcy.   When I was in college, I met a man that I was attracted to due to the money that he had  as I was brought up dirt poor.
