Mask or No Mask

As the number of cases go up, many states are recommending that we mask up again. Should people who are vaccinated be required to wear a mask? Yes, because you cannot tell by looking at someone if they are or are not vaccinated.  


I want this virus to end for good. I want to be able to live a normal life without worrying if I will get Covid and die. I am vaccinated, but the vaccine does not work 100%. I have read about breakthrough cases where people have been vaccinated, got the virus, and died. 


I am still doing what I can to stay safe. I still order my groceries online when I can. It does not always work because sometimes they do not have an item in stock, and I have to go inside a place. Also, Trader Joe's does not offer curbside pickup, so I have zero choice.


 I have not stopped wearing a mask entirely.  I have not been wearing a mask inside if there were many people. For example, I was in a library and the only one in a section, so I removed my mask.  I have continued to wear it to the grocery store, hair salon, and nail salon.  


Please wear a mask, so we can all get back to normal and get this thing to end.

 They are super slow at updating the charities the winners were playing for.  I assume that Jason Kelce donated the $5K he won to the Eagles Foundation for Autism, but I don't know for sure because the website hasn't been updated. Money saving tips for week ending 8.14.2020

One thing to keep in mind, one place is not less expensive on all items. I once had a friend share with me that they buy all of their cleaning supplies at the Dollar Store. I checked it out, but I found that the name brand products were more per ounce than Walmart. I also learned that by purchasing off brands, I was using more than I was with the name brand, which equaled more money spent. Costco does have some items cheaper than Amazon, but be careful because not all are cheaper.  For example  Mr. Clean Magic Erasers are around $10 for a package of 11 at Costco, but you can purchase 9 of them on Amazon for $6.97.  Another thing to be aware of with Costco, you can have your orders delivered to your, but the items cost more. For example, Neutrogena Body Wash is around $16 in the store and $19 if delivered to your door. Juvi didn't show up for court on a shoplifting charge

 I looked up the verdict on the one criminal mischief charge and shoplifting charge and found that he didn't show up for court.  What happens now? According to the court, a warrant could go out for his arrest, or it could be continued to another date. The other charges: third degree domestic violence and criminal mischief have been continued to August. I will keep you posted. I am really hoping for a prison sentence on the domestic violence charge. This is not his first time being charged with domestic violence.
