Update on Juvi

I know many of my readers have been curious about what’s going on with Juvi, so here’s the latest update: not much has changed.

From what I’ve heard, Juvi is still on probation for his last domestic violence charge. He’s also in the middle of a custody dispute with his child’s mother. She moved out of Nebraska and relocated to Colorado, and now he’s trying to get his son back. As far as I know, the child is still with her in Colorado.

There are also rumors that Juvi is still selling drugs in the southeast neighborhood, but I can’t confirm that since I’m not in the area anymore.

 They are super slow at updating the charities the winners were playing for.  I assume that Jason Kelce donated the $5K he won to the Eagles Foundation for Autism, but I don't know for sure because the website hasn't been updated. Juvi didn't show up for court on a shoplifting charge

 I looked up the verdict on the one criminal mischief charge and shoplifting charge and found that he didn't show up for court.  What happens now? According to the court, a warrant could go out for his arrest, or it could be continued to another date. The other charges: third degree domestic violence and criminal mischief have been continued to August. I will keep you posted. I am really hoping for a prison sentence on the domestic violence charge. This is not his first time being charged with domestic violence.

Money saving tips for week ending 8.14.2020

One thing to keep in mind, one place is not less expensive on all items. I once had a friend share with me that they buy all of their cleaning supplies at the Dollar Store. I checked it out, but I found that the name brand products were more per ounce than Walmart. I also learned that by purchasing off brands, I was using more than I was with the name brand, which equaled more money spent. Costco does have some items cheaper than Amazon, but be careful because not all are cheaper.  For example  Mr. Clean Magic Erasers are around $10 for a package of 11 at Costco, but you can purchase 9 of them on Amazon for $6.97.  Another thing to be aware of with Costco, you can have your orders delivered to your, but the items cost more. For example, Neutrogena Body Wash is around $16 in the store and $19 if delivered to your door.
