Why I’ll Never Use Walgreens Pharmacy Delivery Again
If you’re considering using Walgreens pharmacy delivery, let me share my recent experience so you can decide if it’s worth the hassle. Spoiler alert: it’s not.
On December 27th, I placed an order for a prescription and opted for home delivery. I was told the delivery would take 5 to 10 business days and would be sent from the store in my area. Simple enough, right? Wrong.
Fast forward 13 days—yes, 13 days—and my prescription was finally shipped. But instead of coming directly to me, it embarked on a cross-country adventure. Initially shipped from a neighboring state, it bypassed my home state entirely, landed in a state to the west, and then somehow made its way to a nearby town. Just when I thought it was finally going to reach me, it took another detour to a state northeast of me before circling back to my area.
The inefficiency and delays were mind-boggling. What should have been a straightforward delivery turned into a nightmare.
This was my first experience with Walgreens’ pharmacy delivery, and it will definitely be my last. If you need your medication in a timely manner, I’d recommend exploring other options.
