Peaceful Disagreement turns Violent in my Neighborhood

Late Thursday afternoon,  Politician Woman posted a sign near some mailboxes about the HOA not taking conorovirus seriously.   While I was taking the dog for a walk, I saw her, it was around 4:30 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.  Her and I chatted for a bit.  She showed me the sign she had posted.  The sign didn't have any foul language or opinions, it was full of facts.  I didn't see anything wrong with the sign.  I told her to have a good night and went on my way.

About five minutes after I left, everything changed.  I am relaying what is in the police report and what I have been told by witnesses.  Rabbid's (HOA board member) husband, yelled, "Go Fuck Yourself!"  He ripped down the sign, shoved her causing an injury to her arm,  pointed his finger in her face and threatened, "You don't know what this board can do to you."  

At this time, I am not aware that the Rabbid man was arrested or fined. He may have been; I don't know what the police did to him.

On Saturday Politician Woman posted a sign about the rights of homeowners when an HOA is formed. I saw G rip it down, so I texted her and told her. She put it back up and it stayed up for another 24 hours. Late Sunday night, I saw it was down, but I chose to say nothing because I didn't see anyone take it down for all I know she took it down. 

With the violence going on in my neighborhood, I no longer feel safe.  I am worried that the next person who disagrees with a member of the HOA may be shot or killed. Tensions are running high here.

Today, I walked out and quit my job. Huh? Am I serious? Yep, absolutely. If you have a Dyson Animal 3 listen up.

The recline feature suddenly stops working. About a year ago, I decided to splurge on a good vacuum because I was tired of replacing the vacuum every few years. Well, I vacuumed, shut it off and tried to use it the next day and wouldn’t recline. After trying some of the tips online, I gave up and called Dyson. After an hour wait, the guy told me that this model had a defect. So, if I send it back, they will send me a replacement. So, now I am waiting for a replacement. I am also wondering why they don’t recall it.

Why don't I share my political views on social media?

 I don't share my political views because it usually leads to disagreement amongst people and frankly, I don't feel like arguing with anyone. Also, I have to be careful about my conduct on a social media platform because of my job. I must protect my source of income and my future. I will always speak out against violence against women and violence prevention because those are my areas of research.
