Update on the old HOA and Juvi

 Once in a while I get questions about what is going at where I used to live. I only know bits and pieces. I will share what I do know.

I am thankful that my new neighborhood is not as active as my last one. While the last one gave me lots of blog material, it was so stressful to live in.

How do I know what is going on in my neighborhood? Well, people tell me stuff and then if I want to repeat it, I research it to see if it is true.

On Jan 1st HOA dues went up 5%.  Dues normally go up 1% each year. 5% seems like a huge increase. I live in a neighborhood with an HOA, but I don't know if they went up because I am a renter not a homeowner.

I know you all love a good Juvi update. 

Here is what I know.

He now has a son. Juvi's court date in Oct had to be rescheduled because of his son's arrival. It was rescheduled. He must have pleaded guilty or was found guilty because he has a PSI court date in a couple of weeks. I still don't know what he did. I could find out by calling the court, but frankly I don't care. He is no longer my problem.

Is Juvi still with the mother of his child. According to social media accounts, it appears that are still together.

In July, at the annual meeting, a woman complained about the ongoing drug activity.  She demanded that the HOA do something to shut down the drug ring. Well, her house  is now the market. She purchased that home in Jan of 2019. 

I am glad this place is no longer my problem. 

Here is something to think about....

I was told I was the problem when I lived there. I left and the problems still exist. Besides the Animal Control visit, I haven't had any  neighbor problems.
