Spotted another Nebraskan

I am probably the most annoying person on the planet, if you have Husker gear on. Each time I see someone decked out, I have to ask, "Are you from Nebraska?" Only once I have been met with a no.

The first woman I met was in line at Hobby Lobby or maybe it was JoAnn's. I don't remember, which one. Of course, she was decked out and I asked her. She was from the Western part of the state, and she had been out here for many years.

Another time, a guy was in front of me at the Costco gas station and his truck was completely decked out in Husker gear. He had gone to Creighton for college and his sister had gone to Doane University. I don't recall what part of the state he was from. 

I have met others from NE in areas that attract tourists, which is not surprising. 

Today, I met a guy at Costco from Omaha, NE. He told me that he had met two other people a few hours before that were from Omaha.

Oh, the one person that I met that wasn't from NE, was wearing a Husker shirt. She told me she had no connection to NE, and it was just a shirt.

Today, I walked out and quit my job. Huh? Am I serious? Yep, absolutely. Normally, I would tell someone don't ever do this, but sometimes a person has to do what is best for them.  Here is what happened: 7:50 a.m. Arrived at work. 7:50 a.m. to 7:55 a.m. Placed my lunch in the breakroom fridge, filled up my water bottle, and logged into my computer. If you have a Dyson Animal 3 listen up.

The recline feature suddenly stops working. About a year ago, I decided to splurge on a good vacuum because I was tired of replacing the vacuum every few years. Well, I vacuumed, shut it off and tried to use it the next day and wouldn’t recline. After trying some of the tips online, I gave up and called Dyson. After an hour wait, the guy told me that this model had a defect. So, if I send it back, they will send me a replacement. So, now I am waiting for a replacement. I am also wondering why they don’t recall it.

Why don't I share my political views on social media?

 I don't share my political views because it usually leads to disagreement amongst people and frankly, I don't feel like arguing with anyone. Also, I have to be careful about my conduct on a social media platform because of my job. I must protect my source of income and my future. I will always speak out against violence against women and violence prevention because those are my areas of research.
