Why Carrie Underwood... why?

Okay, so I am a Republican, but I do not like Trump. I also do not like Biden or Harris. I liked Bush when he was in office. I like both Bushes and Reagan.  Liz Cheney was admirable for standing up to Trump. If you haven't read her book, I encourage you to do so. Anyway, back to what I was saying about Carrie Underwood. She has agreed to sing at Trump's inauguration. Oh, it is just a bad idea. I like Carrie Underwood, but why, oh why, sing for a felon?

Eagles will play Rams... will they win?

Looks like the Eagles will play against the Rams in a playoff game next week. I am not sure if they will win or not. I know nothing about the spread and even if I did, I am not sure I would know that would mean. Good to see the Rams winning after all with all they have been through with the fires destroying LA. Due to the media hype it would be fun to see Eagles v. Chiefs again in the Super Bowl.  How would Kylie choose her beloved Eagles or her brother in law?

Stop Telling Women to Not to Follow Their Dreams

Nothing frustrates me more than hearing about a woman being told not to follow her dreams because it makes a man uncomfortable. Whether it’s being called "too ambitious" or told to "tone it down," the message is the same: shrink yourself to make someone else feel better. It’s exhausting, outdated, and flat-out wrong. Here’s the truth: no one should have to dull their shine for anyone. Women deserve to chase their dreams unapologetically, without worrying about whose ego might be bruised. If your success intimidates someone, that’s their problem—not yours. So, dream big. Be bold. And never apologize for taking up space in a world that desperately needs your brilliance.

Update on Juvi

I know many of my readers have been curious about what’s going on with Juvi, so here’s the latest update: not much has changed. From what I’ve heard, Juvi is still on probation for his last domestic violence charge. He’s also in the middle of a custody dispute with his child’s mother. She moved out of Nebraska and relocated to Colorado, and now he’s trying to get his son back. As far as I know, the child is still with her in Colorado. There are also rumors that Juvi is still selling drugs in the southeast neighborhood, but I can’t confirm that since I’m not in the area anymore. That’s all the information I have for now. If anything significant happens, I’ll be sure to update you. Stay tuned!

Reflections on Trump’s Conviction Without Punishment

Today, Donald Trump learned his fate—or rather, the lack of one. A convicted felon without a punishment, his case serves as a stark reminder of the disparities within our justice system. What does this tell us? It tells us that in some cases, it’s not about what you do, but who you are. The scales of justice, which are supposed to balance equally, can sometimes tip depending on the power, privilege, or profile of the individual standing before them. To say I am disgusted is an understatement. Accountability is the cornerstone of any functioning society, and when it falters, so too does public trust. This moment serves as yet another example of how justice can be elusive, especially for those shielded by wealth and influence.

Why I’ll Never Use Walgreens Pharmacy Delivery Again

If you’re considering using Walgreens pharmacy delivery, let me share my recent experience so you can decide if it’s worth the hassle. Spoiler alert: it’s not. On December 27th, I placed an order for a prescription and opted for home delivery. I was told the delivery would take 5 to 10 business days and would be sent from the store in my area. Simple enough, right? Wrong. Fast forward 13 days—yes, 13 days—and my prescription was finally shipped. But instead of coming directly to me, it embarked on a cross-country adventure. Initially shipped from a neighboring state, it bypassed my home state entirely, landed in a state to the west, and then somehow made its way to a nearby town. Just when I thought it was finally going to reach me, it took another detour to a state northeast of me before circling back to my area. The inefficiency and delays were mind-boggling. What should have been a straightforward delivery turned into a nightmare. This was my first experience with Walgreens’ pharmac...
